2008 ICSC ANNUAL CONFERENCE POSTPONED TO THE FALL 2008

On behalf of the ICSC I regret to inform you that the 2008 Annual Conference and Exposition, May 12-15 at the Merchant Marine Academy has been postponed until the fall of 2008, date and location to be determined. Further information about a date will be announced in July.

Our registered attendees at the time of this email were prohibitive to moving forward with the conference for many reasons including attendee, speaker and exhibitor experience and of course financial commitments for the conference.

Many people spent great amounts of personal time and effort in trying to make this conference a success, but the momentum has not been present. The ICSC had great expectations for this event and is disappointed in the actions we feel strongly we must take.

We appreciate your patience during this difficult time for the ICSC. A full refund will be forthcoming to all registered attendees for the conference. You will not be charged for the hotel rooms being reserved for you, if any, at the host hotel, the Crowne Plaza LaGuardia Airport. We recommend canceling your flight or other transportation itineraries accordingly.
